Practice Timings

Monday, March 29, 2010
Hello everyone!
I believe that everyone's very excited about the upcoming concert right.
As everyone can see from the side of our blog, we are presently counting down 31 days (30..29...28...) to our very first MJCO CONCERT!
Time is not on our side.
But we still have to try our very best to make this concert a blast, or a boomz!
Hence we have no choice but to do this. =(

From this week onwards, there will be 4 practices per week.
The additional combined practice will be on every Saturday mornings this April, 9am-1pm.
So yes, let us jia you together.
Ganbatte....

Hey people~

Here are some instructions for the selling of tickets.
Every JC1 should have 7 tickets, while the JC2 should have 10 tickets to sell.
Everyone is to sell away ALL the tickets you're holding onto now.
Yes, ALL.
So please try very hard to sell the tickets alright.

The tickets are sold are $6 each.
Do not throw away the side stub of the ticket, the side which is stapled together.
You must pay for the ticket once the ticket is torn away from the stub.

Take note that i will be collecting money for the sales of the tickets on the

9th April 2010 (Friday).

So have fun selling the tickets!
I'm sure "nobody will like to perform without an audience", quoted from Mrs Koh.

Things to take note!

Sunday, March 14, 2010
1) Our school’s Band has been hosting Meiden High School Band (a well-known Band from Japan) every two years and they will be hosting it again this year. There are about 113 (a number larger than our CCA strength) of them coming over. As a performing arts CCA, we will be helping the Band to provide homestay for the students from Meiden Band for only 2 days (23rd to 24th July). I would really like to see that our CCA can help the band out as they can only homestay around 20% of the Meiden Band students and also because. For those who are interested, please inform any of the EXCO members or look for any of the 3 teachers-in-charge, Ms Chua, Ms Liu or Ms Ng (also known as Mrs. Koh).

The homestay is relatively simple:

Provide them with a place to sleep
Bring them to school punctually

FYI on Meiden High School Band Students

they are real good kids
very polite
extremely well behaved
(All the more we should help the band members)

2)      (For JC1s) Please note that there is a typo error on the EXCO application form. Please change the word “precious” to “previous”. Thank you.
